Its sunflower season! We made our signature traditional Thai sweet Allure into this summer flower to make you smile.

'Keep your face to the sunshine, and you cannot see the shadow. Its what sunflowers do.’ – Helen Keller

With this, you can have your own little sunflower field at home to brighten up your days, bring to a picnic and share with your loved ones, or as a thoughtful gift to those special to you.

Allure was first introduced by Portuguese-Japanese-Bengali Lady Maria Guyomar de Pinha who is known for bringing new dessert recipes into Thai cuisine during the Ayutthaya Kingdom (1350 to 1767).

It is made from plain wheat flour, coconut milk, sugar and the essence of jasmine flower. Traditionally Allure is made in a twirled shape in bright colours. Today, it can be seen in various styles, especially floral.

For the final process of our Allure, we use slow baking for about 12 hours in our dehydrator machine. It creates the perfect traditional chewy texture, with a slightly crispy outside and soft gummy inside.

Our Sunflower Allure is very vegan-friendly and dairy-free. Its positive meaning of attraction will bring a happy surprise to those who receive it.

They are a pleasurable addition to your favourite afternoon tea with its subtle sweetness. Believe it or not, they work very well with a few glasses of Champagne or sparkling Prosecco whenever you are in the mood for small celebrations. And they are very photogenic so will create a buzz at your gathering.
