    This Hydrangea Thai Layered Cake features a vibrant blue shade, created with butterfly pea, native to countries throughout South East Asia. We've taken the classic Kanomchan layered cake beloved by Thai people and transformed it into a beautiful blue hydrangea version.


    Kanomchan (TH: ขนมชั้น) is a traditional Thai dessert, symbolising progression due to its layered design. It is commonly served in a square tray and cut into individual pieces, making it a favourite among Thais.

    Kanomcham is a soft and chewy Thai dessert. It is mainly used for auspicious events. Kanomchan means advancement in career and continued success. It is made from coconut milk, sugar, tapioca starch, rice flour and arrowroot starch, then it is mixed and steamed layer by layer. 


    This exquisite dessert is perfect for any special occasion - from birthdays and baby showers to weddings and summertime gatherings with friends and family.
